ORR improved to 11-4 with the win at Upper Cape today.  Leading the way for the Bulldogs were Gared Glavin, Cam Severino, and Erik Sprague, each with two goals.  Also scoring for ORR were Ethan Lizotte and Ian McLean.  The defense effort of Tim Kelleher, Chris Roach, Oliver Lizotte, McLean, Hunter Cooney, and Chris Hiralall limited Upper Cape for most of the game.  Next up is at Stang on Thursday.

The JV team posted their 4th consecutive win to earn a 7-6 overall record. Chad Santello led the team with 3 goals. Mike Pruchnic added two and Steve Durocher, Ruben Llanas-Colon, Troy Sjahfiedin, and Marciano Silva each contributed with a goal for the 9-3 final.

Mike Barrus, Talon Gomes and Dakota kept Upper Cape at bay around the goal area. Gerald Lanagan's goal keeping was superb this day and Upper Cape posed little threat of scoring with him mining the net.

ORR 8 Coyle Cassidy 5

ORR varsity defeated visiting Coyle Cassidy 8-5 on Saturday afternoon improving their record to an impressive 7-3.  No press release is available at the time of this posting.

In the second game, the JV team lead deep into the half 1-0 on a goal by Rocky Marciano before disaster struck.  The team was hist with a double whammy when a Coyle Cassity player took a high hit and the the Bulldogs were charged with a 5 minute game misconduct and two minutes for taunting.   Coyle in that span, scored three goals while the JV Bulldogs were two men down.  ORR made a game of it when Ryan Manning scored early in the final quarter bringing the Bulldogs withing a point.   ORR pressured for the remainder of the game but came away empty handed when they failed to equalize.  The JV dropped to 3-6 and will face a Strong Bishop Stang team on Wednesday May 9th.

ORR 3 Apponequet 2

ORR scored in the closing minutes to break a 2-2 deadlock and hold on to defeat Apponequet 3-2.  This was ORR's 5th consecutive win avenged their early season 7-2 loss to this same Apponequet team and improves their record to 6-3.

The JV's got into a funk early in their game and gave up a slew of soft goals, falling to Apponequet JV's 9-2.  Injuries played a part in both teams performances and the status of the varsity players is still questionable.

The JVs will play with a full squad on Saturday when both teams host Coyle/Cassidy.   Varsity faces off at 2:30 PM followed immediately by the JV game.
